Obituary of Lois Crow Burdette

Lois Crow Burdette, 88, widow of Joe Cohen Burdette, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Mrs. Burdette was born in Pauline, SC to the late Julian Howard Crow, Sr. and Lillie Mae Varner Crow. She was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church where she attended the T.E.L. Sunday school class and also served in the church nursery for more than 30 years. She retired from Her Majesty, was an avid reader and loved gardening. Surviving are a brother, Donnie Crow and wife Barbara; son, Robby Burdette and wife Wanda; daughter, Kathy Walker and husband Dicky; five grandchildren, Casey Burdette and wife Carolyn; Laura Jane Suttles and husband Travis; Aubrey and Eli Walker, Jenna Livingston and husband James; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Holmes; Cara and Cadie Burdette; Jay, Savannah, Charlotte and Janie Livingston. She was predeceased by a son, Randy Burdette. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Monday at Clear Spring Baptist Church officiated by Dr. David Shiflet. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery. A public viewing time has been scheduled from 2-3pm Monday at the church.
