I'm so sorry that we missed the celebration of Linda's life. We had no close connection except to her and Butch, so no one knew to notify us. We did not see the obituary until this past weekend. Jim and I were at their wedding, and they were the only ones we knew at the ceremony and reception, but we loved being there because of them. I made great photos of the wedding! We loved Linda! She was very dear to us. As soon as she started dating Butch (Carl), he brought her to meet us at the Blue Ridge Travel Park. Our campers were next to each other. Afterwards, we spent many good times on our porch there or around the campfires, or just talking. We all ended up leaving the park, but that did not end our friendship!! We live in Mauldin and they lived in Simpsonville, so we'd call and meet at Longhorn Steakhouse mid-afternoon to eat and talk! We'd known Butch for years before he met Linda, and we knew it was a match made in Heaven when he brought her to meet us! She made us all happy! She was just a beautiful woman and so talented. We missed Butch's services because of COVID, but we went to see Linda a few days later and enjoyed so much our time with her in their home, another beautiful tribute to both of them! We are so glad we visited her that day! She was such a gracious hostess to us. She was scheduled to get her first chemo treatment the next day as she told us her cancer had returned. She was still so beautiful and feeling good, but very devastated by Butch's death. Now they are both in Heaven. We don't know God's Heavenly plans, but we do know we will recognize each other, and be joyous and happy! Blessings, Elizabeth and Jim Meaders

Our deepest sympathy to the family in the passing of our dear friend Linda. We were very blessed as she shared her God given musical talents at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and loved sharing with others. We will miss her, but assured she is in her eternal home with Jesus.
